    • 1 lt light milk (4 cups)
    • 4 tablespoons starch (32 g)
    • 1 tablespoon butter / margarine / coconut oil (14 g)
    • 1 teaspoon rose water
    • 12 full teaspoons (heaped) SPLENDA® Granulated (12 g)

    Dissolve the starch in a bowl by adding some milk.


    Put the remaining milk, starchy milk mixture and Splenda Granulated in a pot and cook over medium heat while stirring.


    Turn the boiling mahalabia to low heat and add rose water and butter.


    Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.


    You can decorate your ready-to-serve mahalabia with hazelnuts, walnuts or pistachios.
